Although many avid hip-hop fans may have never heard of him, Main Flow is one of the most talented MC's out of the Midwest. Hailing from Cincinnati, Flow is in the hip-hop group Mood, along with fellow MC Donte and producer Jahson. Hip-hop legends such as Black Thought and Talib Kweli have recognized Main Flow's talent, however, and appeared on a few tracks off of Flow's 2004 album "Hip Hopulation."
Main Flow also released a collaboration album with Boston-based DJ/producer 7L titled "Flow Season" in 2006.

I Never Knew Much About the Cool Kids, But Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish Are the Shit
I got to admit I always respected the Cool Kids, but I never knew much about them. I always thought they've been around since back in the day, but according to wikipedia they met in 2005... on myspace???
Not sure how accurate that is...... Either way I had seen Chuck Inglish's name thrown around on some different songs and I know he makes fresh beats for Cool Kids so I always gave him a good amount of respect. I never knew anything about their MC, Sir Michael (of the) Rocks (Mikey Rocks) who hails from Chicago (or what he calls on his myspace page "the Go"), Illinois.
I was checking out the group's blog today which is really cool and came across this song by Sir Michael of the Rocks:
Sir Michael Rocks - S.S. (Ft. Latif) from illRoots.com on Vimeo.
I thought that was pretty dope so I looked into his solo stuff a little more. I think he is really good and it's def worth it to check out his myspace page which has some good stuff on it.
Here's one more that the Cool Kids do with Lil Wayne called "Gettin' It", which I am really feelin right now.
